#1 Cochran Subaru Raises Nearly $17,000 for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
#1 Cochran Subaru of Monroeville presents a check for $16,785 to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (GPCFB) as part of Subaru of America’s seventh annual “Share the Love” program. #1 Cochran’s donation is the largest amount of any Pittsburgh Subaru dealer raised on behalf of a local charity.
The event, which ran from November 20, 2014 through January 2, 2015, offered customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru the opportunity to designate one of five charities to receive a $250 donation from Subaru. The four national charities participating in the program were Make-A-Wish, the ASPCA®, Meals On Wheels America and the National Park Foundation. In addition, each participating Subaru dealership had the option to include a local charity of its choice.; #1 Cochran chose Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (GPCFB).
“We’re honored to partner with an organization that’s not only been a part of our community for decades, but one that stands true to its mission and continues helping countless people each year. We’re extremely grateful to our customers and team members for making this donation possible and hope it goes a long way to further benefit those in need,” said Rob Cochran, #1 Cochran’s President and CEO.
Since its inception, Subaru of America has donated $35 million dollars to its “Share the Love” partners.
